Shae is doing a really good Kimbrel impersonation. Not as good as the real thing but he has dominated. Have to love that the Braves are able to target relief pitchers in the draft as well as convert the right starters. THis organization just knows pitching so well its scary.

He had a very good spring training and is dominating in AA. With the quality of the guys ahead of him, there is no need to rush him but I would imagine at a minimum he will get a mid-season promotion to AAA.

I like Simmons a lot, even his name sounds like a great player (hehe). But I doubt he gets a call-up to the Majors this year barring injuries, though I agree that if he continues to dominate it might not be long before he sees AAA.

I can see Simmons as a September-callup, or fill in for injury for someone, not much more than that.
I think he should be in the pen next season though.

Agreed, it is far from over. The Nats could be back in first fast too. Look at who they face next (Marlins who they already swept) while we face Philly in Philly. We already lost a series to the Mets too and we face them after Philly. So yea it's far from over, it's not just how we play vs the Nats. It's a long season.

That's not an opinion dude. Declaring the division race over two weeks into the season is something that you just don't do in baseball. It's a cardinal sin.
