When Eddie steps toward pitcher or keeps the front foot grounded he rakes. Seems when he steps towards first is when he is awful.
Jimenez and Johnson are gonna be big in the playoffs in the middle innings for us. I hope Snit is smart enough to not use Minter strictly as an 8th inning guy and actually use matchups. Let’s hope the FO micromanages him again like 2021.

It looks to me like he sets up 60/40 on his front foot- perhaps as a way of not opening up early.
Lately he’s done two things - been patient and not opening up. I don’t know how long he’s capable of staying grooved.
