The problem is those were some pretty dark things he admitted to doing. Whether it's consensual or not isn't really relevant. I would question anyone anyone's character who willfully engaged in that behavior.

That doesn't mean he deserves to be blackballed by the league. And I would hope he wins any legal recourse. But let's not paint him out to be a saint either.

Kinky sex is one thing. Some of what he himself admitted to was beyond kink and bordered on abuse. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.

But morality isn't whats the issue here. As long as you have a willing participant this is the kind of stuff that happens.
 
I have little sympathy for Bauer. Sure, it does appear he is probably being extorted to an extent. But he didn't help his own case with how outspoken he is publicly. Also dumb decisions on his part to even engage in these types of activities which clearly came back to haunt him. It's 2023 and everyone is looking for a come up at the expense of celebrities.

Bauer has three other accusations against him.
He could have gone too far and the woman could have talked about getting money out of him to be quiet. Both things can be true. ****ty people so desperate to defend abusive men and blame “wokeness”. It is now woke to hold abusive men accountable. No wonder some people can’t stop whining about it!

But it is the issue in the sense of him being a ****ty person. Pushing the limits of SA isn't something I'm comfortable forgiving, even though she was trying to extort him. The fact that he gets his kicks that way is pretty disturbing.

Just because you may not like what he does or agree with what he does, doesn’t make him a ****ty person. He’s not breaking any laws.


Don’t ever remember you talking negatively about Chipper, who morally did a lot worse than what Bauer was accused of.

Dude, he legit punched the girl. Choked her out. Understand that he doesn't deny most of the stuff she claims happened, he simply says is was consensual (and it certainly appears that it was).

The fact that he gets his rocks off assaulting another person like that is deeply sadistic, regardless of consent.

You're totally missing the fact that she asked him to do this stuff for the sole purpose of extorting him later. Did he say he liked or wanted to do it?

I'm not sure how it's a Jesus thing and maga thing to back Bauer, but pretty much everyone that knows him agrees he's a weird asshole and by his own admission violence against women gets him off.

Cheating isn't in the same balllpark.
 
Just seems like a bunch of people that quickly jumped to “believe all women” feel stupid.

It’s nobodies business to judge two willing participants in how they want to enjoy their sex life within the confines of their private rooms.

It’s not a shock the people who still won’t admit they were wrong on this.
