Showalter's a pretty good baseball guy. Probably his last shot at managing and I'm sure it's painful to go out this way. Mets' situation was one of its own making and I wonder if Showalter would have made the same decisions that the front office and ownership made. Their offense was just about the worst money could buy.

Buck repeats the same pattern at every job he takes. He comes on board, cuts the fat, organizes everything, rights the ship, gets everyone rowing in the same direction, because he's a smart guy and detail obsessed. And we're all suitably impressed and say, "Wow, Buck's a really smart guy. How was he unemployed?" And then a year or two later it's, "Oh, right, that's why."

And it's patently obvious she did this to extort him.

Weird attack at the end. Must be some history between you two that might require a beer and a foot rub. But other than that I agree. She also didn’t look ‘beat’ up on her video. Clear extortion attempt. Looks to me that Trevor’s biggest crime was he uses a sleep mask.

People like kinky sex and this should not be held against him in the least as long as each participant was willfully engaged.

1 billion.. do you know how the law works or you being silly? I don't even think he has much of a case since he received his whole salary and wasn't tendered a contract from another team. He would have to prove that this incident caused finacial damage and not just teams not wanting to have all this drama around thier org. It is no different than the Kapernutjob's lawsuits that was settled for way less than he wanted and he never or will ever throw a pass in the NFL again.

If Trevor wants to go that route, then more power to him, but he won't ever pitch in the MLB again if he does. If he lets bygones be bygones.. maybe he has a shot, which would net him a ton more money.
 
The Bauer situation is pretty brutal. I honestly cannot stand the guy and I'm not sure I care that much, but there needs to be some sort of recourse because this cost him a year-plus of his career AND I'd be shocked if he ever returns to being the same guy at a high level.
