This is bad and shouldn’t be supported. It’s just also bad when Israel kills Palestinian civilians, which is what many are actually claiming.

This argument is one of the more disgusting things that have circulated around the internet attempting to create a false equivalency.
 
Imagine your impulse argument is to say, "Israelis are bad too because terrorist scum like Hamas cauase mayhem and then hide behind civilians using them as human shields".

What I’m saying is that when you sell a bunch of guns and buy a bunch of oil, you can’t clutch your pearls when money or guns make it to Hamas, even if some of them made it there in the ways you mentioned.

We once had a leader that realized that Iran was a terrorist sponsor and impressively isolated them from the rest of the middle east. Then something weird happened in November of 2020 that nobody can explain and now we are sending 6B to that same terrorist sponsor and allowing them to do all the shady **** they did prior 2016.

My concern is with the people. Israel has a right to defend itself, but ordinary Palestinians are constantly the primary victims of this conflict.

Yes, I actually do support Bernie Sanders and his push for the funding/use of domestic renewable energy sources.

I’m saying it ultimately doesn’t ****ing matter if you die in an air strike or after being slaughtered by a terrorist. You’re still dead, and that’s what has happened to thousands of innocent Palestinians. To ignore that is gross, even if you support Israel.

It’s almost as if funding research for the development of renewable energy could bring improvements to cost and efficacy.

Seriously? It absolutely matters when you allocate blame for the end result. No Palestinians would die if Hamas didn't do what they do. Case closed end of story.

But sure - Lets blame Israel that Hamas kills innocent people then uses their own people as human shields knowing what hte result would be. For you to equate the two is ****ing disgusting.

Who said that my preferred candidate doesn't believe in those same investments? He is just realistic in knowing we are FAR AWAY (unless the world backs off its insane position that nuclear energy is dnagerous).

It also wouldn’t happen if Israel didn’t constantly accept non-Hamas Palestinians as acceptable collateral damage in the conflict. The life of the person who gets crushed under a building that was bombed by the IDF isn’t any less valuable than the person who gets shot in their home by Hamas.

My actual position is that state-sanctioned violence against civilians is bad, and it’s actually okay to also worry about Palestinians during this conflict without supporting Hamas.
