Well you're about 10 years late. John Thomson was a fine pitcher for us. Injuries are what held him back.
Niiiiice.
I just can't bring myself to call him Julio. It feels . . . weird.

I didnt see the game but giving up 10-11 hits isnt great, no?
Or maybe some of his was bad luck given the weather.

A day off wouldn't hurt at all. But if he doesn't get it going soon, he doesn't need to hit leadoff much longer.
Who do you hit first, Simba/BJ?

I remember our fabulous 5 starting rotation headed into 2005 was
Smoltz - Hudson - Hampton - Thomson - Ramirez
Hey wards BABIP is low and is going to continue to be low until he quits rolling over half his balls in play to 2B. He needs to figure out the hitter he was when he first came up and start the hitting the ball the other way like he used to. If he continues to try to pull everything g and hit weak ground balls to 2B he will have a low BABIP forever.
Wasn't Paul Byrd supposed to be apart of that rotation it's funny at the time we thought this rotation was actually going to be good. Remember Montreal was willing to trade us javy for horacio js turned them down lmao
I wonder when we start blaming Heyward's poor offensive performance on the jaw protector.
I think it plays a part.
He was en fuego before getting hit with the pitch, now he's been struggling with it ever since.
