There’s just no way this shouldn’t count as $70m on the Dodgers payroll. Baseball teams shouldn’t be built based on when checks are sent in the mail.Easy freaking thing in the world is to calculate CBT off the years and dollar value of the contract.
The most likely outcome for Kelenic is he turns into something approximating Rosario/Verdugo/Kepler/Heyward. Obviously we all hope he turns into a 3-4 win guy who AA then extends for 6 years at a 20% discount, but that’s not the most likely outcome.
