Exactly. If MLB were fixed for ratings, the Red Sox and the Yankees (especially the Yankees, this year) would be in the postseason - or better yet, they would be the 2 wild card teams. Instead, it will be KC/OAK......yeah, that sounds fixed. :facepalm:

You said you didn't agree with the strategy, yet you are defending it. Losing a game that goes to extra innings without using your best pitcher is simply poor strategy. It's a tie game - use your best pitcher if he is available.

Most do. Some don't. And even if they did, that doesn't make it right.

The best part about losing this game will be that our best pitcher will not see any action.......cuz that's what Fredi's book says to do when tied on the road in extra innings.

LOL. The pattern is the Braves usually lose in the playoffs and that frustrates you. That's quite a conspiracy theory though. Sorry that the Giants lost today though, I guess the league office forgot to tell the Cubs that they were supposed to lose that game.

Has there ever been a protest involving a ventilation system? I would guess a protest would be upheld if a team could show that there were unfair conditions. Nothing. Of course, that isn't the same as the Cubs/Giants situation. Maybe if we let the Cubs ground crew make up their own strike...
