Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

It’s wild, Trump is basically a 90s Democrat, just a little more socially progressive than many of them were. But maybe all 100% of us 90s Democrats have switched parties.

He’s not saying anything wrong here, but I deeply question the intent. Nobody should blindly follow anything or anybody. They cannot, however, become experts on all the things people are experts at. If my doctor tells me to take a medication or get a vaccine because decades of research and clinical experience suggests it’s right, it is not wise for me to instead find the first source that will tell me that doctor is full of shit and to just cook my food in beef tallow or something. People should be skeptical of appeals to authority, but they also need to recognize they aren’t themselves experts because they Googled something once.

On occasion, I've allowed students with children to come to class with them when their childcare arrangements fell through. Doing my part to be supportive of the mothers of America!

They were just helping to fight the fire, not firefighters is a helluva a way to split hairs when shouting fake news. You don’t have to control *every* news story, DHS. They play this fun game where they use this account to declare every immigrant an invading gang member, then clutch their pearls whenever the media accurately reports that they were being complete dicks to immigrants.
