Valbuena seems like he expects to be an everyday player and while he would certainly be a nice option against RHP, I just don't see him getting those AB's with Garcia, SRod, and Ruiz already getting at-bats.

While I agree this would be ideal, I just don't see the Twins going this route in a lost season. They need premium prospects more than they need to shed payroll IMO. I love the principle though!!

They could use some late-inning / back of bullpen type arms, so could Viz plus Braxton Davidson (might have to add another piece like Brett Cumberland) get Kelly? Obviously Davidson's stock isn't high but he could be a potential 1B for them in few years.

Can't speak for everyone but I was so fond of Tyrell because of the person he is, nothing to do with his FV, back of baseball card, fastball velocity, ERA or what type of role he's best suited for. Yes, to some of us that's what truly matters because let's face it, you can't play ball forever...
