I wish he’d pitch in a park with statcast so we could see real data. It would be awesome if his stuff has ticked up.

Albies with another grounder to 1B. If he can get a little closer to the plate maybe he can pull them all foul and never get out. Or maybe he can put his back foot in the RH batter box so he is straddling the plate, and never even let the pitch get past the plate.

Not to worry. The Braves have so much pitching depth they can cover it. I mean Waldrep, Hackenburg, qualbush, morris, janko. The list of impressive depth just goes on and on.

The ump certainly has missed a couple calls on low curves from Schwelly. They would have been an easy challenge.

Schwelly is looking like a sophomore slump is rather unlikely.

Riley out after being hit with a pitch in the wrist/forearm area, so that's awesome.

Profar needs to be healthy for opening day just to spare us from having to watch snit put Albies and his .300 OBP in the leadoff spot.

At this point I think the best option for the 5th SP is to have Strider throw with his left hand until the right one is fully healed.

Solid attempt at a gotcha moment, however as usual your reading comprehension skills let you down. I’ve recently stated his approach has deteriorated, which has nothing to do with 2023. We will see how he adjusts in the current year…2025.

I'm sorry...are you complaining about a ST start during the dead arm period?

Over the course of 3 games Albies has moved his back foot from a couple inches off the inside line of the box, to just barely touching it, to an inch or so on the inside line today. All in an effort to pull every single pitch. And that's exactly what he's doing...pulling everything foul or right...

This is what happens when a group of 27 white guys design something with no input from anyone else.

Albies should put his back foot on the plate. That will help him pull the ball even more.

Albies back foot touching the inside line of the box again. All he can do is pull the ball down the line. He doesn't belong anywhere near the top of the order.

Well, the good news is that in a world where Harris is healthy Snit still thinks Albies is the best choice to leadoff vs a RHP. At least we have the comfort of Snit being consistent.
