It didn't seem that way to me, but they certainly could've thrown to first before second and gotten Acuna easily. He was going to be out regardless and it didn't end up being a big deal, but it looked like he didn't even register that the ball was in play.

From my perspective live, it was nowhere near being caught and was clear off the bat that it wouldn't be. Even once it hit the ground, he just stayed rooted in one place until they threw to second for the out. It was strange.

I am still wondering why in the world Acuna didn't even run when he was at first during our big inning. He literally didn't even move a step toward second when the ball was hit. I've never seen anything like it.

Swanson has been almost as bad in August as he was in April. He seems way too much like one of those players who have a career year during their contract year. No thanks to paying him for years based on that.
