Completely agree. The fact that we can't target corner OF's as building blocks offensively is bad. And being blocked by guys like Olivera and Markakis is really bad.

We could get a real nice 4 for 1 type deal from the Giants. Joe Panik, Susac, Mac Williamson, Ray Black/Beede type deal but I'm just not seeing the impact guys that would make me want to do it.

Well let's see what happens. Teams don't seem shy about spending big money on SP's instead of paying a premium in players/propsects to get a guy like Shelby. So we'll see what happens but these bigger markets would rather just pay for a guy then trade multiple young players

Garin Cecchini was DFA's by the Red Sox to make room for David Price. Obviously has not worked out so far but I'd love to take a shot on him to see if he can earn a few AB's at 3B
