I assumed that when Arcia was required we were moving on from Dansby, and I thought the same when Riley was extended. I think that’s when Dansby was approached. Either way we’ve known Dansby was gone to the highest bidder.

Unless we can find a trade where we can just move our excess pitching and get an impactful player back, Conforto seems like the smart move for LF. I think I’d rather keep our few position prospects and sign Conforto than overpay for someone like Reynolds.
