    How was I to know they were treated poorly without seeing the result of the next presidential election? The executive gets to decide in the moment who deserves due process, then the will of the people makes the final call on whether that action was justified or not when they cast their ballots.

    We don’t need courts, we don’t need a constitution. Nothing the executive does is “wrong” during his/her term in the moment. Once every four years, we use the election as a verdict on any and all actions taken by the executive for the prior four years. I’ll pass on this system.
