05/22/25 GDT Braves @ Natinals

players are going to be up and down.. some just suck... but what shouldn't happen is a coaching staff constantly putting those players in positions to fail. It just amazes me that AA continues to let this buffoon make him look as bad as twit is making AA look. There should never be a non injury case to pull a pitcher mid count and yet twit has now done it twice just this year...
 
I didn't watch the last inning... but looking at the recap.. why didn't twit walk the RHH with 1st open and 1 out to at least set up a double play with the LHH on deck???

I thought about that, but it was also Abrams and Wood due up, basically their only good hitters. Of course Rosario owns us, so…

They sent the runner from third that would have taken a perfect throw to get beat on- against a closer who is real hard to get hits on- and the throw beat the runner and he was out at the plate. Next batter was Ozuna who got handled anyways. Conservative play was to hold the runner. Gamble was to try and get the lead. Turns out play at the plate wasn’t even close- they reviewed it, but he was very clearly out—but an off throw at all and he would have beaten it.
The problem is that Ozuna would have been up with runners at second and third with only one out. It most likely wouldn’t have mattered, and sending the runner was probably the right call to try and somehow get the run- but it didn’t work out.

Team has been in a funk for well over an entire season, but they can't fire the manager. Just gotta ride it out and waste another season. You just have to do it.
