Abrams probably isn’t getting doubled up, but yeah, I could see it either way. Far from the most egregious tactical error Snitker made last night.
 
Now that they're back under .500, every single game is a must win. They cannot keep doing this shit against bad teams.
 
Acuna back tonight. The excuses should be over. If they look like this 3 weeks from now, snit shouldn't be just fired... he should be pushed out the jet

You could walk him and Abrams. Don't like facing their best hitter with bases loaded, but it's left on left with a good control pitcher
 
Judging by the condensed game, the Nats really tried their hardest to hand this one to the Braves, but they gracefully declined the offer.
 
why wasn't Blewett in for extras? No one can score on him in extras... the Tom Brady of extra inning pitchers

The game was lost when we tied it and snit tried to use AJSS another inning. It was as egregious a move as snit has made in a while. They had 3 straight LHH (1-2-3 in their lineup), and it was their third time to see AJSS. Just a move only a guy with a 4" thick skull would make

To be fair, the Nationals' BABIP was around .500. They had some great at-bats but they probably earned about 4 runs on batted-ball luck.

I see both sides here, but I'm more frustrated that he went with AJSS to face three consecutive LHH (and likely their best hitters) before yanking him mid at-bat. Bummer is so much better with the bases empty. It's all-around bad managing
