Lotsa luck Shelby!

Hard to turn away from the Falcons to watch Shelby, but he's got it working today. AND he has a lead!

Simmons' first homer since May(?!?!?). Don't let it end. More runs for Miller. More! More!

First two runners reach in the ninth including an error by Simmons. Way to resurrect my nagging doubts about Shelby's starts, Braves.

I would prefer to have a higher draft pick, but we have seen a lot of promising developments the last Couple weeks with our young pitching and that trumps the marginal difference between having a draft slot one or two picks higher, IMO.

Can Wisler pitch well just for an old vet like Moylan to blow it?

Looks like we have 3 set starters for next season in Shelby, Julio, and wisler. 2 of Minor, FA, Perez, banuelos, and folty should round out the rotation

I can't believe Adonis has double-digit HRs.

Both Kelly Johnson and Juan Uribe would have probably exceeded 10 HRs had the stayed with the Braves all season and as a result would have been #2 and #3 behind Freeman, but it is what it is. Curious to see if Adonis is a part of next year's plan in any way.

He's never really shown this kind of power before and his walk rate is pretty bad. With that being said he could be a decent bench option. Lord knows we've had worst the last few years.

I don't see how he couldn't be. If nothing else, he's a solid bat off the bench
