I want 90+ wins pretty badly and it honestly shouldn't be hard to get there at all. We just have to win 3 out of our next 7. We should probably win about 91 or 92 frankly.
On the other hand, ironically enough the last time we actually advanced to the NLCS was when we finished with less than 90 wins in the regular season (2001 with 88-74 record).

I'm thinking we might win 92+ at this point. The Phillies just look done and I wouldn't be surprised to see us take 2/3 from both them and the Mets. Also, its still very possible that we could win out and take the 1 seed if the Cubs can have a bad ending.

I could be wrong but MLB isnt like other sports.
Your record is where you pick and you dont pick where you finish in the playoffs. I could be wrong here though. I just checked, this is indeed correct, Astros picked 28th this year.
But a top 10 pick and 20-30 pick for a team as loaded at Atlanta is isnt fair lol. Braves are 24th now, but picks 20-23 are only one game back, so if Braves falter some this week, they could pick 9th and 20-22nd or so.

Cubs finish at Wrigley with 3 vs Pirates and 3 vs Cards.
I think they go 3-3 at worst, probably 4-2. Regarding the Braves, they could beat up on Philly, i wouldnt be surprised if they shutdown Nola and finish the year evaluating some young players the final week instead of playing Bour, Cabrera, Bautista etc. Mets series wont be easy since we face Thor and DeGrom. Especially if we rest some guys that series.
