I know this is going to shock you sturg, but many people of all political stripes are extremely credulous and willing to believe even obviously dumb things that confirm their priors. Luckily, no one around here ever does that. Anyway, this phenomenon has spawned a noteworthy subreddit, r/AteTheOnion.

I find the Babylon Bee to be generally unfunny and their obsession with AOC in particular is bizarre, but comedy is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
