It just makes me a good bit irritated for about 3 days. But anyways.





I would rate my posting a 10 out of 10. No one has done better in..... probably all of history..... if you fake posters werent biased against me you would agree. Never in the history of posting on the internet has there been genius like this. But do I get a thank you from the fake posters like you? No. Why dont you try being nice instead of all your nasty comments. Just be nice. Okay...that's why your ratings are down. Your sick... sick in the head..... if it wasn't for me this forum wouldnt exist. We would still all be on scout.com under the iron fist of Bill Shanks.

Snopes, a website that literally only exists because they started debunking right wing mass emails

Then when that graduated into fake memes and news sites, they debunked those

Literally only around because of the widespread nature of lies and description from right wingers

It feels stupid to have to point out that a babylon bee joke article

But we live in a world (and have a certain poster here) that people spread a story about a pizza joint that doesn’t a basement was running a sex trafficking operation in its basement.

Finds it still prudent to tell the truth to everyone cause they know people are idiots

Even when it comes from a knock off onion website

Babylon Bee is.so much funnier than the onion it's crazy.

It requires a fact checkers because their parody of leftists have come so close to reality

I know this is going to shock you sturg, but many people of all political stripes are extremely credulous and willing to believe even obviously dumb things that confirm their priors. Luckily, no one around here ever does that. Anyway, this phenomenon has spawned a noteworthy subreddit, r/AteTheOnion.

Here is snopes on why they do articles on satire, with breakdown on people who believe both the onion and the babylon bee:

McConnell says he favors state bankruptcy over more federal aid

McConnell said in a radio interview that Republicans would not support giving state and local governments more money in future coronavirus aid legislation, saying those funds could end up being used to bail out state pensions.

Speaking on Hugh Hewitt's syndicated conservative talk radio show, McConnell said he instead "would certainly be in favor of allowing states to use the bankruptcy route."
