116th Congress

The House passes the Coronavirus relief bill, 363-40.

Let's unpack this.

this number indicates it was a bi-partisan effort.
The Bill is on McConnell's desk as we speak.
Contrary to the repeated babble of, "yeah x/number bills on his desk but they are all … "

McConnell left DC Thursday

Wondering when this gets a Senate vote ?

hmmm

anarchy = socialism

curious an explanation ?

Would you say the average Democrat is a socialist? Now would you say the far left part of the party are socialists? The average Libertarian is not an anarchists but if you follow the ideology to the extreme you get anarchy.

Jesus Christ, Pelosi might end up having to save two Republican Presidents in 12 years from being Hoover 2.0 and avoiding a Great Depression 2.0.

Obama came into office in 2009 with the unemployment rate peaking around 10%. Would have been even worse if not for the Bush Stimulus of 08 and TARP, and Obama stimulus. Bush saw the writing on the wall, and quietly retreated into the corner and let Pelosi and Reid save him. I have a feeling Trump isn't going to be as cooperative unless he can get all the credit on his name.

Now Mnuchin is saying we could get to 20% unemployment if Congress doesn't intervene with socialism. And now Trump who hasn't been speaking to Nancy cause he's mad at her, may have to beg her to save his Presidency from becoming Hoover 2.0.

I would say the average Democrat is a Socialist.
Social Security and Medicare are the 2 primest examples.

Libertarians are merely (R) that cant get out of primaries.

Wondering if Sen Sanders fits the same bill .
What say you ?

Libertarians cant even agree on who is Libertarian but you got us all figured out. This election is proving why we need a third party in the first place. Trump is a total clown show. Biden is the worst of the worst in terms of politicians. In Baseball terms its like choosing between watching the Yankees win 7 straight world series or 3 straight world series. Yeah I know 7 is far worse than 3 but I still refuse to pick that option.

The Senate’s $2 trillion package aimed at reducing the economic damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic appears to ban businesses controlled by President Donald Trump and his family from receiving taxpayer assistance.

A provision in the bill prohibits businesses controlled by the president, vice president, members of Congress, and heads of executive departments from receiving loans or investments from U.S. Treasury programs. The prohibition also applies to their children, spouses, and in-laws, according to a summary from the office of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

I wonder which party insisted on this provision.

Yeah...all those needed programs she tried to slip into a bill during a global pandemic was a fantastic move.

If we would have just listened to him kn impeachment maybe we would have addressed this global pandemic sooner but you know democrats....priorities.

this could be the dumbest **** the cult is dragging out these days

and that's saying something

but you took party over country for a corrupt criminal, we would most likely be better off for this pandemic if you would have taken country over party

but

republicans.... priorities
