2015 NFL Draft

RT: Steve Mariucci and Mike Mayock are both hearing that teams are coming away saying that Jameis is the smartest QB they've ever met with.

Common sense and football intelligence are completely independent of each other. It's not the football intelligence that should concern teams.

Wrs with those numbers are just about a top 10 lock

I know many people will disagree, but if the top 4 defensive player are off the board (Williams, Gregory, Ray, and Fowler) and White is on the board at 8, then I think the Falcons will take him.

But White having a great combine was the best thing for Atlanta because now it's more likely that Oakland, Jacksonville, etc will take him which means a defensive player gets bumped another slot.

To be fair, outside of Gurley and possibly Lankford, it isn't a great year for RB. Better than last yr for sure, but still not that great.

Disagree completely...

Gordon and Gurley are two of the better backs in recent memory. Plus there are nice options at RB from Miami, Indiana, Boise, Nebraska, Alabama, Miss St, etc...

Yeah, lot of scouts say this one of the deepest RB drafts in recent years.

Carp wrong as usual.

Yes, this is a good RB class this year, especially when you consider that the last two years, none were taken in the first round. Two will more than likely go in the first round with Gordon and Gurley with teams like the Texans, Lions, Cardinals, Panthers, and Ravens who will be in the market for a RB with also the Cowboys and Seahawks potentially looking in the first, dependent on contract situations with Murray and Lynch. Could be at least eight that go in the first three rounds.
