2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Anyone of the Libertarian bent the least bit realistically interested in seeing their vision reach the light of day they become (R)
as in Paul Ryan and half to 3/4 (R) of the House of Representatives

In that light
Voting for Gary Johnson is comparable to voting for Pedro.

Are you making a statement?
Or rattling the cages of the powerful ?

If a tree falls in the forest and no one ...
........................

I guess one could make the same comparison of Socialists and (D)

I'd have been happy to vote for Paul in the primary had he still be in the race by the time my state voted. It's the only reason I remain a registered R (that, and l have no motivation to switch) - to vote for the most Libertarian leaning Republican. If there isn't one , I don't bother voting in the primary and vote for the LP ticket in the general, or I abstain.

You say voting for Johnson is a wasted vote...I don't see how choosing either side of a ****ty coin (HRC/Trump) advances Libertarian principles any better than voting for Johnson would.

What's the point of someone Libertarian voting for a candidate that wants to double down on Obama's policies or one that wants to institute ridiculous tariffs with our largest trading partners and close our borders. If you believe free markets and individual liberty are the best ways to organize society, the two major parties aren't offering you presidential candidates to support.

Look at Johnsons stand on issues.

You will find (LP) more in line with (R) or even Trump rhetoric than you will will a Clinton45 administration
Of course there are differences (similar in style to Sanders v Clinton) but as a whole you would further your cause with a President Trump rather than a President Clinton.

That, would make me rethink my whole value system
....

Like I said earlier, a Libertarian is a Conservative still working on his degree

Mitt Romney? Really? That's the best they could come up with?

LOLGOP ‏@LOLGOP 5m5 minutes ago

How was Mitt to know in 2012 Trump was a racist and not just a jovial fellow with a passion for seeing black men's birth certificates?

Any moment now Romney will give a speech to discredit Trump.

Trump earlier this morning called Romney a "stiff".

Man what a time to be alive if you follow politics.

For you historians out there... has there ever been a candidate like Trump? His brand is new to me, but I'm wondering if folks like LBJ or Teddy Rosevelt were just as brash

Care to substantiate that last point with evidence?

Here are the numbers...

People who receive public housing
81% vote democrat
12% vote republican

Medicaid
74% vote democrat
16% vote republican

Food stamps
67% vote democrat
20% vote republican

Unemployment compensation
66% vote democrat
21% vote republican

Disability (from govt)
64% vote democrat
25% vote republican

Welfare/public assistance
63% vote democrat
22% vote republican

And we all know, under Obama's economy, that puts the Republicans behind the 8-ball. I guess Romney wasn't too far off on his 47% comment

Well nearly every state in the southeast has Republican legislatures. And they receive more money from the federal government than any other states.

Where'd those numbers come from?
