2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Yeah, I've been seeing this re-posted on facebook by my friends whom are Ron Paul guys.

In what developed nation with socialized healthcare, is the government forcing doctors to perform a practice or treat someone without their consent?

I would love to be shown cases of this and improve my understanding on this. Wouldn't socialized healthcare just be covering the costs, so doctors would still be getting paid either way?

I honestly would rather see socialized healthcare, than see people try to get sympathy on gofundme to fund surgeries and health procedures.

As Julio eluded to, government (tax payers) fund a lot of basic things as it is. Education (public schools), Law Enforcement (Police), Civic Leadership (Elected Officials), Transportation (Roads, Buses, etc).

Why wouldn't basic healthcare be one of those things?

Always interested to know why conservatives feel we should still be interpreting the constitution as if it's 1776, not 2016. Jefferson actually wanted the constitution to be scrapped and reformed every once in a while to be modernized.

There is just so many things we have now that the fathers never had to deal with that definitely makes the constitution look outdated.

And I love the basic premise of the constitution, but there should absolutely be some room for modernization.

I could just interpret the "right to life, liberty, and happiness" as life being afforded to live healthy.

As far as the debate last night was concerned, as much as I sympathize with the Sanders position on some issues, I think it was pretty obvious that when the debate turned to

foreign policy, Hillary was comfortable, confident, and fluent.

You might not agree with her positions, but her discussion of foreign policy compared to what's coming from the Republican debate stage was like watching a MacArthur lecturer versus a chimpanzee.

She is certainly experienced on foreign policy, but Hillary is very uncomfortable having to go so far left. She's having to pander to the uneducated liberal voter similar to what happens on the right having to pander to the evangelicals (not Bedell types) and reds. Her wheel house is moderate liberalism. It's unfortunate but pandering is necessary to win.

I give up on the whole "right" argument... you guys are clearly missing the point. So I must not be doing a good enough job explaining it. Carry on

Gary Johnson: Bernie Sanders vs. Donald Trump would be our 2016 dream

I'm pulling for a Sanders/Trump so that a third party will likely get more attention

You may well get that but you know what usually happens when someone gets between a Hillary and her prey (the White House).

Oh man, what if Ron Paul jumped in on the Libertarian ticket. Would the Republican establishment back Paul to stop a potential President Sanders or Trump? Paul would demolish Bernie sanders because he would steal a significant part of his base which is young voters.

Pretty much. Remember the 2 sons of King Edward, his brother Richard and a plot that led to the downfall of the Yorks and the rise of Henry Tudor (the VII) at the end of the War of the Roses. I typically abhor the use of Wikipedia but this time it's pretty good so here it is.

Careful guys. Folks around here will ridicule you for suggesting that the Clintons would do such things.

Tomorrow's the Super Bowl, so I assume the Democrats have a televised debate scheduled for about 7 PM ET?

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is horrible. She's 10x worse than Preibus.

I didn't like her before but when I read rumblings Obama wanted to remove her from DNC chair but she threatened to play sexist and anti-Semite card I group her with Cruz and Trump. She's obviously in Hillary's camp. I can't stand her.

Rubio starts every answer with: "_______ because of this administration", "With this administration...", "Thanks to this administration".
