2016 Trade Deadline Rumors and Moves

The Yankees may have another dynasty if they don't give these kids up for Chris Sale this offseason.
 
If none of our pieces move in the next hour, it will be disappointing. I know, I know, August is still there since most of our guys will pass waivers but you get more bang for your buck during this deadline. There is no reason for Johnson, Frenchy, and Cervenka to be here in an hour.
 
Just watching the MLB Network talk about the Yankees. They think all these guys are just currency to the Yankees. They expect very few of them to actually play for them, but they are great currency for future trades.

They say the Yankees are not going to change their MO from acquiring players to growing and developing players.
 
I completely understand why McCann isn't a Brave again. The New York Yankees are completely reaming every team they have traded with in the past week.

New York could likely get Chris Sale by putting together a package of most of their prospects just from trades in the past week. Start with Frazier, Sheffield, and Torres.
 
Would you guys eat the 17 million/year owed to McCann if the Yankees included one of the prospects they've recently acquired?

This board puts extreme value on anyone that resembles the hint of being a prospect. Every buying team in the entire major leagues is dumb.
