In the 24 hours since news of the deal broke, the Phillies have sold 100,000 tickets, senior vice president of ticket operations John Weber told 94WIP on Friday.
I'm not sure how much revenue each ticket sold brings in, but this is an immediate surge in revenue from signing a big star.
Safe to assume $100 per person means the Phils just raked in $10M in the last 24 hours?
Just 324 million more to break even lol
ETA... just pulled up one of our games there in June on Ticketmaster. Tix available were from $13 to $114 with a crap load at the bottom of the scale. Your $100 a ticket is probably too generous
I'm thinking fans spend a whole lot more on the game day experience than the cost of a ticket. I know I do.

If Minter is seriously hurt they have to take a hard look at Kimbrel.
This is insane. Our training staff legit must just suck
In my opinion, spending a lot of money on Kimbrel made more sense BEFORE all these injuries.
