Buster Olney:

ATL continues to be in discussions on OF A.J. Pollock, among other FA OF. If they got him, their lineup could look something like this, depending on where Acuna bats:
LF Acuna
3B Donaldson
1B Freeman
RF Pollock
2B Albies
CF Inciarte
C Flowers/McCann
SS Swanson

The Carter Stewart decision in ATL's favor means that the Braves would need to give up their second pick (about No. 62), rather than their third-round pick, if they sign A.J. Pollock, who is tied to pick compensation.

I'd be ok with Pollock depending on the money/years, would be a solid addition.

Let's sign Pollock, trade for JTR, trade for Gray/Frazier, trade Teheran and O'day for whatever we can get and sign Kimbrel if his market completely dries up... doubtful, but hey... it'd be fun

So braves keeping pick we lost on carter?

Would he still cost a pick on a 1 yr deal?

Yes. In the event he signs for less than $50 million, the D-Backs wouldn't get a compensatory pick until after Competitive Balance Round B (after the 2nd Round).

Same goes for the Dodgers' return for the Grandal signing.

I could see a Pollock and JTR scenario both going down pretty close to each other. Pollock should be more durable in a corner outfield spot. Our lineup would be super RH heavy.

I know he’s had some injury issues (though I think one of those was a freak thing), but I like Pollock. Depending of course, on the contract, I would like to see him in Atlanta.

2 of his 3 main injuries were freak things... breaking an elbow diving... and breaking his thumb... before breaking his thumb, he was on an absolutely insane pace last year.... would assume that probably hampered his power a bit when he came back.
