On the bright side, AA's a God when it comes to value signings and not overpaying - good thing to think about when we finish in 3rd or 4th place in the division.

Quite sure this winter extended the window.

I dont think Philly or the Mets are better right now, Washington probably is.

But baseball is weird, maybe some Braves pitchers breakout, and JD has an MVP type year. We just dont know. And obviously the Braves can still add some players.

The gnats have projected to be the best team in the division since before any post-season moves were made and it is difficult to come up with a scenario that would have changed that.

We and the Mets are pretty close right now. And fillies a bit back, with a chance to close the gap with a big signing. I think at least one WC team comes out of the NL East this year. Maybe 2, considering we play the AL Central in interleague play.

What I'd like to see is fairly aggressive pursuit of the platoon advantage. Among other things it might mean:

1) Albies in leadoff against lefties, then Donaldson, Freeman, Acuna

2) Acuna in center against lefties, with Duvall and Camargo at the corners.

3) McCann and Flowers in a fairly standard platoon with McCann in against as many righties as he can manage.

Yeah 70% is kinda too specific. If he had said ‘we’be settled on half the trade.’ Or ‘we’ve settled on all the significant pieces and just finalizing some lesser prospects.’ it would sound more believable. Lol but to say 70%?
