Mish The Fish is an idiot and knows nothing more than the Atlanta beat writers, he has never once mentioned the Padres and steals info from the legit sources such as Heyman and tweets out info shortly after they tweet it out like it's him breaking some kind of news. He's probably just hoping for more Twitter followers.

That's not true in the slightest. And pretty sure he first reported the Dodgers recent pique in interest.

Not really... JTR was a monster away from his terrible home park. Like MVP good... large sample to say it wasn't chance either

Nah Mish is a legit source, i dont think the Braves land JTR, but Mish is the goods. He isnt a hack/mouthpiece.

I think the main ding on Marwin is the perceived high cost of signing him due to him being a Boras guy. If you could sign him to a resonable one year deal with an option for two he would be a great pickup. Chances are his production will be similar to Cutch, Brantley etc.

He also said we’d have to trade Enciarte and Teheran to make that scenario happen. Plus said Harper’s contract would have to be majorly backloaded.
