Weren’t we supposed to here a mlb game announcement about Harper. Did that happen or was that rumor BS like everything else this offseason
They had a video that announced they would have gameplay footage released on 2/5/19. They capitalized on the Harper hype and people bought into it.

Yeah, I told you guys there was a good chance of that. The guys at SDS are great for the most part, but sometimes they do things that seem really out of touch. This particular instance was probably fine, but they have done some things in the past that are hilariously awful from a PR standpoint.
Earlier this year everyone in the community was complaining about how terrible the hitting was online, so they did a live stream where they basically told everyone that hitting was fine and that we were all being stupid lol

I am starting to think AA is being pretty damn brilliant and just holding off until next year after we know what we really have. He made the team better with JD, and Gohara/ Soroka could be the real deal. We might be really, really good from that standpoint - and then go all in in 2020...

Wonder what Harper and Machado have turned down through the years and how it will compare to what they get
Stuff like that is what makes casual Braves fans so homerific. Troy Glaus is like Riley's top 10% outcome, so calling him a Glaus clone is silly. If they really value him as a 3-4 win player with a couple peak years that verge on MVP level, there is no way they would ever trade him for JTR.

AA pretty much said we're not going spend alot on a BP arm but i guess if you can get him for 1 year, why not. But baseball needs to do something about their free agency.
