showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously.
That said, if the Phillies land a guy like Harper, it's game over offensively: Segura SS, Realmuto C, Harper RF, Hoskins 1B, McCuthchen LF, Herrera CF, Hernandez 2B, Franco 3B
I mean, come on. If someone is trying to support their argument and/or impress an internet message board by touting their status as a sales engineer... that is pretty freaking funny
lol... you can't be serious....
you.... didn't understand that I changed that on purpose to mock you....
and then tried to explain it... hahahahah
That's awesome.

Phillies are in the lead in Realmuto derby. Sixto and Alfaro are agreed upon but working on the rest. Marlins seek Bohm, Haseley, Moniak or Medina. Phillies want to limit the number going south. @jonmorosi and @Joelsherman1 r on top of it
WOW. The Phillies are getting fleeced.

yup...Sanchez and Alfaro would be a tremendous get for Realmuto
Funny's not the word. Those of you continuing to pile on people and revisiting stupid arguments from weeks ago need new pacifiers - let it go for heaven's sake - you're not gaining more internet cred by continuing to do what y'all do either..
So your sick comeback was a pun? Gotcha.
So much for putting me on ignore, though?
Who called it a sick comeback? I was just making a funny that you took seriously. I enjoyed the laugh at your expense, but let's move on... not that I'll read any of your posts going forward anyway.
Mish thinks that before today we had the best outstanding offer and it looks like the Phillies are topping it.
Current rumor is Sixto plus Alfaro plus 2 more from the group of Mickey Moniak, Adam Haseley, and Adonis Medina, with Jon Heyman of MLB Network reporting (Twitter links) that Alec Bohm, Luis Garcia, and Spencer Howard.
Rough estimates of the value of those guys:
Sixto FV 60 P = $60M (trending down due to injury concerns, some may value him as a 55 worth $35M)
Alfaro FV 45 C = $6M if prospect, likely higher since he is a bit proven at the MLB level
Medina FV 55 P = $34M
Bohm FV 50 3B = $28M
Haseley FV 45+ P = $6M
Howard FV 45 P = $4M
Moniak FV 40+ CF = $4M
Garcia FV 40+ P = $3M
So the guys labeled as throw ins aren't close to equal. If the Marlins get Sixto plus Alfaro plus one of Medina/Bohm plus one of the bottom 4 I think they did very well for themselves.
The Phillies are stupid if they trade a package like what's being rumored. Realmuto is good but how long will he be good? He'll be 28 by the start of the season. That's not young for a catcher. There's a good bet that he'll be in steep decline by the time he's a FA.
So while the Phils might have the money to re-sign him, it's still pretty much a rental. Realmuto in 2 years probably isn't the guy he was last year.
