None of these are all that surprising, ultimately i think Touki might be best used in the bullpen but im ok trying him as a SP until he cant.

Very true. Always difficult to tell from spring training statistics, but the guy has been dominant. Curious to see if he goes north and his effectiveness continues. Could be Cody Martin redux or something better.

I don't know if he just wore down last year, but he fell off in the second half outside of a spectacular August. He's been spanked harder than a sub in a BDSM club this spring and maybe there's some holdover from last year.

The Jackson thing is what’s weird to me. Winkler is definitely better than him. Jackson is useless.

I agree but maybe Winkler needs a couple weeks in the minors to sort things out.

Winkler declined a good bit but he's still way better than Luke Jackson. Unless they're signing Kimbrel, thats an odd move.

The #Braves today made three roster moves, optioning OF Adam Duvall, RHP Touki Toussaint and RHP Dan Winkler to Triple-A @GoStripers. Atlanta has 35 players remaining on its spring training roster.

The #Braves today made three roster moves, optioning OF Adam Duvall, RHP Touki Toussaint and RHP Dan Winkler to Triple-A @GoStripers. Atlanta has 35 players remaining on its spring training roster.

Something has to be brewing.

The Braves aren’t messing around. Suck in ST, you get demoted. Prettt sure Luke doesn’t have options, so that was definitely a factor.

Problem is, there doesn’t seem to be enough players to fill out the BP and OF anymore. The bench is shaping up to be crappy again.

Guyer and Kimbrel on a 2 year deal seem to make a lot of sense right now.
