2018 Trade Deadline ROSTERBATION

Archer 6 innings, 3 runs, 13 K's today.

Wonder what it would cost for him, he shouldnt cost as much as a couple years ago.

Gausman, Bundy or Schoop are meh, i'd aim higher.
His peripherals have been pretty good. I’d be more than happy to trade a haul for him.

Gausman and Bundy would be pretty good if they could reduce their HR rates but that's almost like saying I could dunk if I was taller.

Schoop is an upgrade over Flaherty and a good buy low candidate. Wouldn't start him over anyone right now though. My guess is theyd want him for third.

pass on all of the above...there are better alternatives to Schoop who hit from the left side or are switch hitters...we need one of those...Moose/Cabrera/Escobar/Solarte/Dietrich

Bundy and Schoop make sense depending on the cost, both could be good buy low candidates. Gausman I wouldn't give up much for but he could be better in the NL.

One of the Orioles starters made sense in a bigger trade.

Controlled average starter with maybe some upside left to replace McCarthy/Teheran/Sanchez in next season’s Rotation.

I wonder if the Braves could get Gausman and Cobb for Allard and quantity? Cobb is having a down year and is signed for 3 years after this one.

The Braves and Phillies have been linked to several major names this summer, and Heyman says the two NL East rivals have indeed been “involved in most/all the big stuff” on the trade front. According to some, however, Atlanta and Philadelphia have also seemed less likely than other contenders to move their top prospects. This jibes with recent comments from Braves GM Alex Anthopoulos, who was looking to make upgrades but expressed wariness about dealing top prospects, particularly for rental players. Both the Braves and Phils are somewhat in the same boat as teams who are somewhat unexpected contenders coming out of a lengthy rebuild, and since both are looking to begin some sustained success, they aren’t necessarily looking to make a big all-in push this year.

From MLBTR, not entirely surprising.

feel like every trade that's made we have people saying "wish we made this trade" lol. lots of other teams are looking at lots of the same players. we'll work something out.

What do you ( or anyone ) think Archer would cost? Id rather go after Him or Martinez then any of the Orioles starters.

I think Archer/Romo would make sense for us.

Also: Allard, Anderson, Jackson, Sanchez? That's probably a bit light, but something along those lines.
