K9 over 14 this year

Just turned 21 in April; draft-eligible sophomore thanks to starting off in the CC ranks; good size, suggesting maybe he can add a bit of velocity as a pro. As TC notes, “Kalich has also struck out 47 batters against 11 walks, while racking up a 14.3 K/9 rate.”

Picks 21 and 60 still feel like the real head-scratchers.

I don't get too high or low at this point in the draft. Taking a reliever that doesn't have great velocity isn't my first choice but maybe they see some untapped potential that's worth a 4th rounder.
