Ideal scenario is they value Riley as a future Peter Alonso, and the Braves get Thor for something like Riley plus a non Wright/Anderson arm.
Man... I'm so conflicted about a Thor trade. I'd obviously love to get a pitcher for 2.5 years that has Cy Young upside. At the same time should we be paying a premium for those extra two years of control on a pitcher that has never pitched 200 innings, has only made more than 30 starts once, and has a pretty long history of injuries? Hell, I'm uncomfortable paying that price for almost any pitcher. Should we pay it for a guy who's history makes him far riskier than the typical guy of his caliber?
If the price were just Riley or Waters plus some non-elite guys I guess I would be down for it. The value would just be too good at that point.

Im not sure if "The Braves Way" is still a thing, but not sure Thor fits into that. He's known to be a bit of a head case and has made headlines here in NYC by acting up.
Thor is good and impactful but he hasnt been that good this year, and comes with injury concerns.
But that report of a top 30 prospect, and some other solid pieces, seems like the Mets would be selling very low. I wanna hold onto Waters/Pache, and Anderson. Not sure if Braves can get it done without one of them, but i guess it depends what AA offers.
I think i'd offer something like Contreras, Wright, Riley, and Ynoa for him.
If the Mets don't know enough about the Braves AAA prospects by now, they would be foolish to even attempt making a trade haha.
Having said that, Wright is pitching today for AAA...
He's too much for Wheeler, but could be the centerpiece for Thor.
