Dude I am the same way. I've rewatched and reread GoT, The Wheel Of Time Series, and LoTR about 5 times in the past few years. I've rewatched every pre-Discovery Star Trek countless times.

I just discovered the Kingkiller Chronicles and started reading that recently, so hopefully I've finally found a new series worth reading. Picard is coming out in a few months, but I have no faith in the new Star Trek producers after Discovery.

Ahh, now I see.

As someone who has never won anything in life, you place a high value on being a fan of an actual winner. You are a nothing in every aspect of being a man, and have a father who was a pretty good player, so you have to win by proxy. You've shown that inclination several times now.

I don't assign as high a value to winning the WS because I get my enjoyment from watching a good team on a nightly basis. Obviously, it would be fun to watch a title, but pointing at a WS flag while watching a 100 loss team would be very lame.

It all makes sense now.

In a way yes, but supposedly the asking price is sky high for some of the players available.

But there's been like 1 biggish trade so far (Stroman). And nothing else.

This seems like a very Game of Thrones vs. Lord of the Rings discussion. Lord of the Rings is better, but its over so quick. Game of Thrones is still really good and you can be entertained by it over a long period of time. If I'm looking for long term entertainment, give me GoT.

I don't understand why people don't just ignore someone they don't like or whatever. If it is a mod and you can't use the ignore feature on them just literally ignore them and let them chat back and forth to themselves like a crazy person. So many people get baited and it's just a message board lol, not real life or anything important.

A lot of people are saying the mods are striking due to backpay owed.

Again i don't know if it's true, but a lot of people are saying it.
