Listening to @AOC stump for @BernieSanders
in Iowa City. She’s telling a story about being unable to afford a blood test
& having to wait for hours at a free clinic. The fact that this happened
WHILE she was a candidate for Congress makes it so powerful &
draws in the audience.

If Sanders wins SC we could declare this over. Most likely not going to happen but he should get a big boost from Iowa and NH. I think he is also leading in NV. He has pledged to legalize marijuana in his first 100 days via executive order. America is gonna need something for the PTSD from the IMPOTUS era.

if Bernie get the nomination a lot will change immediately.
Per se
Worth noting should he win the general and Trump is not removed, there will be 77 days of an untethered Trump

Be interesting to see how he handles immigration. Of course he wants to close the camps immediately, but …
and until it happens there is no answer for this, but, how will that happen?

Wants to end foreign entanglements, but again, until the day comes how will he turn 80 years of foreign policy

Kinda like defense spending, everyone agrees it needs to be curtailed but how ?
A lot of people are employed in that realm.
Isnt DOD the largest employer, counting independent contractors etc, of the US ???

Wasn't this Obama's problem, how was he to incorporate all of the things he wanted
And today, as in Trump's Wall or firing an Ambassador --- guess one campaigns in poetry to but forced govern in prose
………..

Getting interesting

I think the early CW was that Bernie and Warren were going to split the progressive vote, but it looks to me like Bernie has consolidated it while Warren has receded, and that Biden/Pete/Klobuchar/Warren are instead splitting the moderate vote. SC is really unlikely to break for Bernie (because, IMO, it’s an older primary electorate) but he could run a strong second. If he wins IA/NH/NV and takes a strong 2 in SC, he’s clearly in the drivers seat.

Bernie should take the whole thing unless Biden steps down and lets Bloomberg take the moderate nabs. Biden has too long of a bad past, just like Hillary, you can't vote anti-progressive over and over again and not expect it to kick your ass in the democratic primary. Bernie can carry the black vote better than any of these people as well. Bernie has almost every liberal who's who endorsing him. Bernie is truly leading a groundswell of votes and the crowded field is doing Biden no favors. Hillary had the advantage of just being up against Bernie, Biden had to compete with Bernie, Warren, Knoblachar, Bloomberg, Buttigieg, etc.

Only one Bernie has to worry about coming for him is Yang.

I have never understood the appeal to moderates strategy. The best candidates imo are the ones that generate a passionate base. I keep hearing "we have to nominate this guy because he is a moderate so he is electable" but those candidates keep losing....... and no one seems the wiser afterwards.

Stick a fork in Biden. Told you he wouldnt make it to Super Tuesday, shoot I might be wrong, he might not make it to New Hampshire.

All the (R) on this board insisted he was the one.
(D) gotta quit taking their message from GOP pundits.

Dumbasses wanted to hand Biden the nomination and then let him crash and burn in the general election. All Biden had was name recognition and the SJW who think the solution to losing is nominating an old out of touch white person.

All of the leading candidates sans Pete are old out of touch white people...
