2020 Field

All of the leading candidates sans Pete are old out of touch white people...

I meant man. As in Hillary would have won if she was a man. I think that's why a lot or her base supports Biden. What I mean by out or touch is being a status quo candidate. Bernie is definitely not a status quo candidate.

I haven’t really been following the polling...I was figuring Biden, Pete, Bernie, Warren, Bloomberg probably top 5? Not in that order

Bloomberg is probably going to do well because he has more money than anyone else.

Will be interesting to see what happens in NH. Biden gets bounced, the Party will have rally around someone. It's such a shame they're not letting Bernie have his shot, they're just gonna piss off his base again, who're all the people they need to show up.Their only shot to a nominee beating Trump who isn't Bernie is Yang OR Obama coming out and endorsing and campaigning hard for them.

RIP Bloomberg campaign. I do however support a law requiring police to follow around Bloomberg and stop and frisk him like he wants done to minorities. I think that would lower crime.

How many old white racists are we going to have running for President this year?

Don't be so sure. Trump said worse things and got elected. So nothing would surprise me at this point. Granted, much of his base feels the same way.

2. 3 if you count Warren.

Honestly I don't think Bloomberg or Biden are racist, they're just old white guys. There's gonna be **** they say and do that's ****ed. Consequently here's Bernie in 1963 getting arrested while demonstrating as part of a civil rights rally in college

Bernie can beat Trump. I don't think another Dem with the exception of Buttigieg with a strong VP has that shot. Bernie can do it with a weak VP because Bernie unlike any other Dem has been above reproach. He's been open about his past. What's the worst thing Trump is going to say to him, he's a socialist? Something he's admitted to and then when Trump tries it at a debate Bernie will open up a gash when he points out that Medicare, Social Security and more are socialist programs. Leaving Trump wide open for a beating in the polls with the old white folk that are his bread and butter.

Bloomberg and Biden are old white men who're out of touch. Unless Biden plans on running with Obama as his running mate, he has no shot. Bloomberg is in kind of a similar script. Bloomberg is a very effective politician, but there's a cruelty to his efficiency and that will hurt him. He would need a super strong VP, someone young, minority and charismatic.

Dems have a shot to do something big here. Trump has to be the most vulnerable incumbent in a long time. The right candidate can get the base out, can bring in more young people into the base and get more congressmen and women elected. If the dems can just get the Senate even, they'll be in a great place.

When I spoke with Warren, I was struck by how she doesn't talk about this campaign as if it's about her. It's all about the ideas.

I asked her how she would feel if Sanders or Buttigieg won the nomination and adopted her plans, and this is what she said:

The difference is a significant portion of the Democrat base are black. How many times are Democrats going to kick black people in the teeth and still get their vote?

As soon as I tune into a mainstream media stream there is some idiot saying Bernie isnt a winner tonight because he is showing he tops out around 28% and he did much better last time against Clinton so he is actually under performing. Wut?

Sanders won more voters under 30 years old in New Hampshire
than all of the other candidates *combined* according to
@CNN exit polls.
