I think its a fair criticism of Sanders. I would encourage people to flush their money down the toilet rather than give it to the government but hypothetically speaking he could pay for some healthcare for some people out of his own pocket. I dont know what he contributes to charity so maybe someone could fill me in on that but I doubt its much. Dont tell me "we need to raise taxes for these social programs or people will die" but hold on to every dime he can until others are forced to pay. You could save lives right now Bernie. It is not ethical to advocate for state violence to forcibly take peoples money to give it to others. Never has been and never will be. All these social programs can be funded by private individuals if they want. Maybe Bernie should start his own charity. Atleast if people give money to a charity and they dont use it for that purpose or grossly mismanage the money they can be held criminally accountable. Not so much when Government does it. I will never support giving them more money until they fix the massive inefficiencies in the system. They have literally no incentive whatsoever to fix those issues as long as they can treat the public as an ATM machine. Government is not lacking in money, they just have their priorities wrong. I am more than willing to help with healthcare, but you cant guarantee me what I pay for that will actually only go to healthcare.

Looking at early polls Biden is clearly in the lead but at this point Lieberman was leading in 03. At this point I have to believe if any Democrat isnt supporting Biden at this point it's because they have a serious problem with him. I think Bernie and Warren supporters naturally go together. Whoever outlasts the other probably gets those votes. I expect Buttigieg supporters to break almost all to Biden. That puts it at about 24% Bernie/Warren and 39% for Biden.
Biden seems to have a sizable lead on Trump in the general election but choosing a nominee based on early polls is a terrible idea imo. Will be interesting to see Trump call him weak on crime when Biden few politicians have done more to fuel mass incarceration than Biden. He literally wrote the 1994 crime bill.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Biden changes his tune. Dont tell me its not a significant issue when the clear front runner changes his tune after 40 years of being Sessions level evil. Now I dont believe for a second Biden will do what he is saying. What he will do is what Hillary planned to do, stall the process and blame the other party for not cooperating then use it as campaign issue for reelection.... then just ignore it because he isnt running anymore.

I still wont vote for him unless he gets into specifics about what he will do and when. Vague statements dont give me much confidence coming from someone with his history.

That is literally the exact opposite of what is happening. According to LE the roads in Colorado should look like bumper cars. There will never be another President who is anti-marijuana. I guarantee you that.
You do know that almost all legalization changes statewide have come from a vote right? I think off hand that Vermont is the only one to legalize without a vote. These are just stereotypes that were drilled into you as a child.

As I hoped/suspected Biden's numbers are falling. He is like Hillary, the more you get to know him the less you like him. My fear is he will win the nomination and then we are stuck with him as he collapses giving Trump an easy win.

Heres Biden's town hall in Houston. I am going to try and find a way to get into a townhall to ask a question if he comes back. Notice his interaction with a child at 43:28. He still doesnt get it.

I care about Trump’s actions and policies. Swalwell hasn’t given me any reason to think he’s not an ally for the LBGTQ community. If the lies Trump told were whether he hung a flag on his office door, I wouldn’t care at all.
