that's not a very long time period.
Nope. It IS the entire Statcast era though.

Langeliers is a higher ranked prospect than Contreras and either would be too much to give. I would add Jackson instead (who has actually been upgraded because of his improved defense and was almost in the Greene trade last year).
I would not deal Pache, Waters, Langeliers or Contreras for anyone rumored on the block other than Clevinger.
No way in a Seager trade. He's a big upgrade offensively and hits from the left side. He is owed a lot of money. He is close to his mid thirties. He has looked bad in the recent past. Plus he is on a crap team and there is not a huge demand for third baseman at the deadline.
I'd offer them Comargo, Touki and Folty. Folty just to help with the money and they can decide if they would want to take a flyer on his last year of control.
My worry is pitching is going to be really expensive b/c there are not many sellers and there are huge needs for lots of teams. I don't see the people fighting us for Seager, maybe the Nats?
Seattle's not going to take our crap for Seager. Seager has plenty of value. He just doesn't have much excess value.
Then he doesn't have much trade value, and they will be lucky to get an arm like Touki for him.
I expect they won't get much if any team eats all that cash.
Heyman said Clevenger could bring back Frazier and Andujar from NYY. How/who do you beat that with?
Can't imagine you do without involving one of Waters or Pache.
Of course I'd bet that if Frazier and Andujar had been offered Clevinger would already be a Yankee.
Have to disagree with that premise. Indians are starved for offense. Andujar and Frazier have contributed virtually nothing to Yanks this year. Waters and Pache have provided zero offense to date.

What???
Just what I wrote. Frazier has played in 9 games this year and Andujar has done nothing. Check the Yanks stats and then look at the Indians stats. Nothing from the OF and nothing from catcher. Very little else. Almost worse offense in baseball.
Judge is going back on the IL, Stanton may not be back, Torres is a week away, LeMahieu further than that. and they've lost 5 straight - Frazier isn't likely going anywhere,

Pretty sure the Ms will take any player of decent value for Seagar. He's hitting well but that contract is awful and comes with another guaranteed year if traded. Touki or Newk should interest them. Folty has zero value since they already had a chance to claim him for free. Camargo is worth as much as any decent back up level player, which isn't much. But highly doubtful we trade him since that would leave us with Culby and Heche to back up SS and 2b and a LH pinch hitter gone.
I expect AA to add a generic arm to eat innings, while also working on an impact arm. Let’s say 99% chance he adds some form of bulk innings guy, and 50% chance he adds an impact SP.
Adding at least 1 multi inning arm (not necessarily a traditional “starting pitcher”) is about as close to a must have as there can be. Another Matzek to cover 2-3 innings twice a week could help tremendously. It would be shocking if AA didn’t address pitching.
