2022 Elections

They stole the electrons!

smh, Trump always going negative.

Responding to a lot of thethe points...

1. The media narrative that trump is attacking DeSantis is there because... Trump attacked DeSantis. That was the first thing that got me pissed off and then he did it with Youngkin... Two people who... Ya know... Actually won? If trump didn't wanna lose a.huge part of his support he has nobody to blame but himself. Matter of fact, I've seen the media actually DEFENDING trump bc they don't want any part of DeSantis

2. I agree with you about the elections being gamed with the new rules. How do you propose we fix that? Gonna have to start winning some elections. See DeSantis, Ron

3. If your entire future is to boycott anyone who has any establishment support, then you will never have a winning candidate again

4. I agree that cocaine Mitch failed to support some winnable races. Trump did too. Rallies aren't gonna move the needle on the independents. If you're spearheading disruption candidates that are gonna take down the establishment, I don't think you should be surprised when the establishment doesn't support you. Trump needed to fill that void and he didn't. He's sitting on a mountain of cash

5. I cannot for the life of me understand why DeSantis' success has been so off-putting to you and trump. He was trump policy... But actually effective... And had one of the most impressive elections I've ever seen

6. This isn't some great media manipulation of sturg33. As I've said for years I think trump did a great job but he had some major failures. His crying about DeSantis was the final proof I needed to know he cannot and will not be able to get the job done. His ego is just too great and there is no stopping that (by the way I just watched his interview with Candace owens where he continues to praise the vaccines). Let me remind you that he is personally responsible for losing the Senate in 2020... And I think responsible for losing the Senate in 2022 (choosing Oz and Walker unacceptable). We know the left will vote for whoever the right still has critical thinkers. Brian Kemp's Crusoe's to victory while walker loses to the wife beater.

Trump has done nothing but lose since he got into office. Some of those losses were not his fault... But he was too weak or ineffective to stop them. Time to move on

I like masters a lot. He obviously made a critical error in abandoning his more libertarian leaning ways to embrace trump. Trump is election poison

6 is spot on. Trump is the greatest and also the worse thing to happen to the Republican Party In decades.

One thing about DeSantis's win is that he was running against a former Republican governor of Florida. Not really someone who inspires a lot of excitement among Democrats. I dont think a less moderate Democrat would have won but I do wonder if it wouldnt have been so much of a blowout. Maybe this was on purpose to give the GOP a candidate other than Trump for 2024.

Look at what Trump pushed in 2016 and what Ron Paul pushed in 2012. The same positions Trump gets praised for by conservative media made Ron Paul not a serious candidate in 2012 according to Republican media.

The counterpoint is Val Demmings was touted as a rising star in (D) and got smoked by Rubio by a similar margin. That state was about as purple as they come, but now looks as red as any.

It's pretty disheartening that the person overseeing the disastrous election in Arizona is going to win the election. There is never any penalty for incompetent governance from leftists

Barely winning a very Red district. A win but very bad sign for her and Republicans. She will have to do it again in 2 years and Democrats will probably put a lot of resources into the race because they see a wounded candidate.

A moderate Republican probably wins that election. Instead they ran someone whose main campaign promise was to relitigate a 2 year old election. She also has the state of psychopath. I wondered if she ever smiled, then I saw her smile and it legit scared the **** out of me. I wouldn't be surprised if they found dead bodies in her basement someday. She had a type of Hillary Clinton energy going on.

Florida becoming solidly red will give the GOP another big state with surplus votes and might end up evening out the discrepancy between popular and electoral votes that has grown in recent elections.

Squinting very hard at the results this year in potential pivot states, I see Nevada moving toward the GOP and Pennsylvania moving the other way. The 3 most likely to be pivotal in 2024 are Wisconsin, Georgia and Arizona. Hard to detect any significant movement in those three (relative to the rest of the country). Michigan turned more blue, but isn't really a pivotal state.

One thing that’s been fascinating is the idea that there’s a conspiracy to *announce vote totals* in a sinister way.

The vote counting in AZ is being conducted in accordance with the procedures enacted by the legislature (during a period of Republican control) and a Republican governor. They were adopted in response to various concerns (some valid some less so) about the security of the elections. Various Republican officials in Maricopa County have tried to explain that there is nothing nefarious going on. Just the election workers following the procedures laid out in Arizona law. We can ask for no more and no less.

Laxalt is to be commended for putting out a couple tweets preparing his supporters for the likelihood they will come up short.
