Of course because he’s a reasonable person. I still disagree with the overall premise of trump on his own is a drag because of who he is. He’s perceived by voters as a drag because of a coordinated and complicit media narrative. It did have a real effect but succumbing to it just facilitates figure hit campaigns marginalizing transformative candidates.

The way elections are ran just happen to change after the populist transformative president won in the United States. If you don’t think that our elections have become ballot harvesting schemes because of the threat trump had to the global order then we will just have to disagree.

This whole narrative is forming to achieve what the goal was the second trump won the presidency. I love desantis and have never said anything remotely negative about him. I just see who is fully getting behind him and will remain skeptical.

The mass ballot harvest scheme was created in 2020 under President Trump. His support for lockdowns enabled it. His complete subservience to Fauci enabled it

He was too weak or ineffective to stop it.

I think it's safe to say COVID pushed FLordia for now into a Solid Red State. Will be interesting to see at what cost though. I don't think we'll know for sure until 2028 if the migration to FLorida did damage to the Rs or not. And if there will be a second migration out of florida.

The same system that DeSantis told to **** off.

Trump actually criticized governor's for opening up too early.

Trump bent over to.the system and the system ****ed him. Now we have the mass.ballot scheme that is an uphill battle thanks to Trump's ineptitude.
 
The way mail and other early voting helps the Dems is it allows them to concentrate their get out the vote operation on election day on the smaller subset of voters who have not yet voted.
 
Amazing that Republicans have made history this mid-term, by severely underperforming as the opposition.

Republican Revolution happened during Clinton's midterm.
Bush gained seats in 2002 due to 9/11 high approvals.
Obama got slaughtered in 2010, lost the Senate in 2014.
Trump lost the House in 2018.

Biden may end up picking up a Senate seat, and barely losing the House.

GOP may have a 2-3 seat Majority in the House.

No doozy. Have to modernize and do what the Dems are doing. Doesn’t look like these awful election procedures and laws are going to change.
 
Some outlets starting to call NV for Cortez Masto after she recently took the lead. Looks like GA runoffs will be irrelevant.
