Mr. Trump has made the false claim that he had told his aides he wanted 10,000 National Guard troops and that Speaker Nancy Pelosi had rejected the request. The president did tell advisers in the days before Jan. 6, 2021, that he wanted a National Guard presence, but it appeared he wanted the troops as extra protection for his supporters, his aides have privately acknowledged.

Tell you what I’m SHOCKED that no evidence has been found by this fair and impartial committee that completely debunks the whole Bs narrative they are trying to spin. But sure you rely on those fact checkers that have done such great work like say covid was originated in nature.

Plus they really need a source if they publish that, but they don’t have one so they say “privately”

There is LITERALLY no reason to deny EXTRA security for these types of events. Ever.

If you deny those requests and something happens you probably get fired and go to jail if it was real.*

*I mean not in this administration but normal ones they would be held accountable.

If there's one thing that's predictable in this world it's that when I mention the topic that someone sabotaged the defense the Rapid response team is there to blame a Democrat. It's like they have internalized that they know it's in Trumps character to do such a thing so they are really desperate to control that narrative by quickly responding with accusations about a Democrat. Its fascinating because I dont even think it's a conscious thing they do.
