He was always a big arm high upside junior college pick a while back. Many thought he could end up a high leverage reliever but it hasn’t really translated to professional ball thus far.

Small sample size in ST this year. If the Braves are going to be above average pre Acuna return, Olson and Riley are going to need to be special. Two guys with power that had trouble with K rate and pitch selection. Olson's spring numbers suggest he's ready to go. Riley k'd far more than you'd like, but with a .214 avg he still managed an OPS over .800.
On the bump, Wright put together a great spring. 9.8 k/9 with a 0.82 WHIP. His success this year may have more to do with the braves future plans than anyone else currently on the roster. If Wright has finally found himself, that eliminates the need for a high dollar starter (Morton or otherwise) to round out a big 3.

I recall similar comments about Riley. Sometimes it takes patience. Mortan for example. And sometimes it just never happens.

It was a very small sample but Wright looked different when he came up at the end last year and in the playoffs.
