Both Abrams and Gore were top 10 prospects in all of baseball before this season, so it makes a lot more sense now. Abrams has been bad during his stint in MLB this year though.

Gore has also been dealing with elbow problems which is a bit scary

that is who I was thinking when I saw MLB'r.. Help the Friars with money and roster spot, while adding that veteran leadership to the gNats. I think the gNats are hoping for a big first half from him next year to flip him as well.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Pads can extend Soto. That’s a lot to give up for a couple of years.
