I'll say it again. We're spending 200 billion annually on illegals.
I'm not advocating we do this, but for those people with bleeding hearts (like mqt) would it not be a much better solution to deport as many illegals as we possibly can back to their home country, and then give 50 billion annually spread among the countries where most illegals come from, in order to support their economies, stimulate international trade and technological growth, and drive out crime? That way so that these people can help improve their own countries, give us an invaluable allies, and strengthen the world economy as whole?
Wouldn't it be nice if Mexico and Brazil and Venezuela were places most Americans weren't afraid to travel to? And it would save us 150 billion annually while driving down crime, homelessness, housing/rent prices, energy prices, etc?
