2024 Field

LOL, if this is level you're stooping to try to "get" Trump" with 27 days till election, you gotta know you have already lost.

It is sad.

I thought all these stories had a modicum of validity back in his first term, then i realized how pathetic it was. I got duped.

Imagine if Joe had a press this motivated to get he and Kamala....

I think in a roundabout way providing Putin with those tests could potentially have been in the national interest. Of course those who sloganeer about putting America first have never shown interest I'm that kind of reasoning. I'm happy to let them marinate in the irony of their boy doing this.

I am not a big Trump as I have said plenty of times. But it's strange for someone who claims abortion is his most important issue, to be so anti-Trump considering Trump is the primary reason Roe v Wade was overturned in the first place.

Trump is "primary reason" bc he happened to be the president when 3 justices left the court. He appointed justices that ANY republican would have. Actually, he only really appointed 1 great justice and the other 2 are mediocre.

The Roe case was brought to the court well after he left office. And he has since blasted republicans for actually changing the laws ik favor of life, calling them a "terrible thing"

He gets credit for beating HRC. He doesn't get credit for simply doing his job

I hardly bragged about being a dem. I was one when I was young because of family influence and quit being one probably before you were born.

I'm hoping from Trump what he did pre-Covid.

Yes, it is ridiculous to waste a vote on someone not even running when we're looking at Marxism coming to America. "Muh principles" lol.

Trump has managed to turn his voters into people who mock the idea of having principles and values

LOL, if you think all Trump did to get overturn Roe V Wade was appoint judges that any other Republican would have, you are delusional. Trump literally ran on overturning Roe v Wade as one of his main platform positions in 2016.

How many other Republican candidates have run on that platform since Bush junior?

I believe overturning Roe has been GOP orthodoxy for close to 50 years now.

What did Trump do to overturn it besides the justice appointments?

I agree with Trump on 95% of things and you probably agree with him on 90%. If you think voting for someone not in the race is some kind of "stand on principles" stuff go for it.

With some notable exceptions (Souter and O'Connor) Republican President's have appointed justices who opposed Roe.

I don't agree with him on most things. We probably agree on immigration but I don't think he has what it takes to do anything about it

GOP missed that opportunity

OK but how many Republican candidates have run on a campaign promise to overturn Roe v Wade?

Tons of politicians say they are for or against one thing or another. But when it comes to actual policy, they purposely are vague so as not to piss off too many potential voters.

Romney certainly did not promise to overturn Roe V Wade. Neither did McCain. Only a couple of candidates in 2016 went so far as to say they would put install Justices to overturn Roe v Wade. Ben Carson was on them.

What did Trump do to overturn it besides the justice appointments?

He promised to do it for 1 thing. You don't think he specifically chose the judges he did in order to get the results he wanted?

If the other candidates were too chicken **** to campaign for it, what in the world makes you think they would have put the people in place to get it done?

He chose the judges that were handed to him on a list.

There wasn't even a case against Roe until after left office.

Trump beat HRC. He was allowed to select 3 judges. He chose judges any Republican would have, and I'd argue he chose more liberal judges than other Republicans would have

And then after the law was changed, he's done nothing but trash the states who have actually done something about it
