How many more times must I say I think trump makes mistakes and says stupid things?

Directionally trump was an INCREDIBLE president and when you normalize it for what he was up against he may have been best of all time.

But this is the ****ing problem with the dude he will attack allies and objectively good people if they are even the slightest bit more successful than he is.

He is not the guy to get the job done. He got framed for treason, and I don't know.of any removals he made while the president. He won't do it the next time either. Bc all you have to do to get on his good side is compliment him, like Gavin Newsome... Be successful and take the spotlight away like RDS, and you are an enemy.

He can't win that way

I don't believe anything that comes out of GA... But I do believe constantly complaining about it has not worked, and the only that will work moving forward is actually winning the damn race.

Kemp did that and abortions have been cut in half.

I'm not gonna make perfect the enemy of the good when the alternative is an avowed communist. Winning matters more than anything and trump will not win in 2024.

Not really an upset. But I believe that Jacksonville is the largest city currently with a Republican mayor. Davis is pretty Trumpy. Generally not a good recipe if running in a competitive jurisdiction.

To win Deegan had to persuade some Republican and Republican-leaning independent voters to vote for her. This is a formula the Dems have figured out.

Meanwhile the AOC/Bernie Sanders-endorsed candidate running fourth in the Philadelphia mayoral primary. Would be great if that holds up.
 
Cherelle Parker, former head of the city council who campaigned on hiring more police and bringing back a modified version of stop and frisk, will be the next mayor of Philadelphia.
 
Colorado Springs, usually a pretty Republican city, looks like it will be electing a Democratic-leaning independent and immigrant from West Africa as mayor.

For folks who don't know Jacksonville, the city and county

are the same government.

Wrong to think this is another "big" Dem city. It has outlying

rural areas and a significant number of military retirees. It's a

slightly red-leaning bellweather for the state.
