2024 Field

The childish moronic infighting between trump and desantis lost us this position. I ****ing hate what’s going on right now. There is a country to save.

I agree I wish the leader of the party wasn't constantly attacking powerful allies unprovoked

More reasons why he cannot win. He is incapable of building meaningful coalitions

I can read the social media posts from Trump and DeSantis.

Who do you think is obsessively attacking the other?

Ah Desantis the person doesn’t say anything therefore the desantis camp has said nothing ‘at his direction’.

Understood - wouldn’t expect you to take this type of angle but whatever makes you feel better.

I expect the leader of the party to not obsessively attack every successful politician in the party, correct

What fans of DeSantis and Trump do are irrelevant. Trump is a child

Desantis seems like the most likely to win in 2024, if he gets the nomination. He'll pull FL easily, which is the largest of the swing states. That leaves him with needing to only pull about 4 state a mixture of GA, NC, AZ, PA, MI, WI, VA, NH, MN, CO, ME, and NV. GA, NC, and AZ traditionally go Red. That means he likely only needs 1 state among the remaining swing states to win. IMO, he could easily win in a landslide.

I'm starting to think he's also the front runner for GOP nomination

The left is currently lacking any rising stars remotely close to Densantis. If he wins, the Dems could be in a rough 8 years, and even longer depending on his performance and who he tabs as his VP. It's quite obvious that Kamala ain't it and never was going to be it. Tulsi Gabbard had a ton of upward momentum before they beat her back down in favor of Biden, and now she has left the party. Maybe Gavin Newsom, but his policies on COVID and immigration will likely hurt him quite a bit.

I agree, Democrats are lacking stars to put forward after Biden. And the ones they do have are very far left like AoC which isnt going to win unless Republicans really **** the bed in an election cycle. But you never know what times brings, Bill Clinton wasnt exactly a big name going into the 92 primaries if I recall correctly. I think Andrew Yang is the only one I really have hope for but he doesnt have a high enough victim score. What I expect is a Hillary Clinton esque shoe horning of Kamala as the nominee in 2028 and every Democrat who doesnt fall in line with that will be called a racist. Then when she loses they will blame it on White Supremacy and probably shoe horn her again into being the nominee in 2032 to lose again.

You arent factoring in the Ron would be running against Democrats and Trump. Theres no chance if Ron wins the primary over Trump that he will bow out gracefully and endorse DeSantis. None. Honestly I think Trump fears DeSantis winning more than Biden winning. If DeSantis beats Trump in the primary and wins the election he is the De Facto leader of the party and his support will dwindle from that point if he doesnt fall in line and put the party before himself, which even the biggest of sycophants like thethe knows he wont do.

This is true, but I would expect Trump knows if he loses the primary then he has no shot of winning the election. He could only tank the election for DeSantis. While I don't put it past Trump to be that petty, I don't think he would have any interest in failing that hard in the public eye.

I'm still waiting to see all these polls (outside of Rove's polling agency) that actually show Desantis better nationally than Trump.

And the idea that Desantis it the front runner in the primary is absolutely laughable. The only hope for Desantis is Trump is arrested.

There are millions of normie democrats waking up and realizing that everything that was said about Trump was a lie. Black men have been warming to Trump for 10 years (They always liked him before politics) and Hispanics LOVE Trump.

So Desantis has the traditional/educated/more successful Republicans. YAY!!!!
